COVID-19 UPDATE: CHANGES TO DELIVERY SERVICE OPTIONS FOLLOWING UK GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE
** Latest Update: 09/12/20: Following the latest announcement by the UK Government, we regret to inform you that that some of our Delivery Service Options continue to remain temporarily affected until further notice during these heightened restrictions.
- Light two-man delivery services are now available.
- Take to Room and Assembly are now available on all items except flat-packed beds.
- Disposal services are now available.
Express deliveries that do not require additional take to room or assembly services will be handed over at the customer’s front door, i.e. in front of the apartment door in an apartment building or behind the front door of a house (hallway, where there is one). To minimise the risk of infection, our dedicated couriers will not require the recipient's signature on their tablet. Instead of a signature, the courier team will take a photograph of the delivery point and will sign the tablet with 'delivery completed'.
Please Note: These extra government restrictions may cause slight delays to your orders. Both ourselves and our dedicated couriers are working round the clock to ensure we meet the estimate delivery lead time located on each individual product page. Again, we shall continue to monitor the latest UK Government guidance and update this page when necessary.
For existing customers who have ordered these additional Delivery Service Extras, please email our customer service team with your order reference at email@example.com for the latest update. Our telephone lines continue to remain extremely busy, yet email support often provides a quicker response for many of our customers. ** Update: 03/06/20: Our Delivery Service Options remain affected until further notice and we will update this page as soon as we are informed. All of our products are now active, including the estimated delivery times shown under the product images. Please note: All couriers in the UK are extremely busy, therefore, some orders may be slightly delayed so please bear with us. Also, depending on how the UK Government guidance changes, this page will be updated as necessary.
** Update: 20/04/20: Our Delivery Service Options remain affected following the UK Government's additional 3 week extension. 95% of products are still business as usual however some are affected which are clearly marked as affected on the product page.
** Original Press Release: Following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the latest UK Government guidance, our Delivery Service Options will be affected for an initial 3 weeks, starting from the 24th March 2020. We will then review the situation following the latest Government advice and keep our customers informed. As we operate as an online retailer, we are still open for business, however, some products have been affected.
To make this as clear as possible for our customers, please see the individual product pages for more details. The availability of the product and its Delivery Service Options are clearly identified. However, in general:
- Two-man delivery services are available, but the products can be taken to door only.
- Assembly on all items is currently unavailable.
- Disposal services can only be carried out if the old goods are left outside prior to delivery.
We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience for our customers, but we believe it’s the safest course of action. The more we keep to the Government guidelines and act responsibly, the sooner we can get back to operating as normal.
